    I'm testing BETA 3

I'm testing the BETA 3 now. Still has a slow startup but not nearly as long as before and not every time...sometimes it starts right up. My phone does not freeze any more with the Flexilis installed. They might have worked out a few more bugs. Without the freezing I'm more willing to test some more. I have switched back to my 8GB SDHC card (that could have something to do with the better results). My 16GB SDHC died....I have returned it for "replacement" under promised "Lifetime Warranty" .

Good to know re: start up...I have had the app disabled for a bit. Though once it ran it didnt seem to interfere with anything. Start up was getting to be the main reason for my reluctance.

    Removed BETA 3

I am really trying to like this program. I do like the way it backs things up. But today my phone started locking up again and the keyboard would not unlock. Synced with my computer, removed the program and now the phone works great again? Few more bugs left it the program. My phone doesn't seem to like it. I'll wait for the next FIX.

manbat: sorry to hear that. :-( we're checking out your support email now so we can track this issue and diagnose what might be causing it. Thanks!

Are you using madbeetle still? It tends to slow things down at times. It brings skyfire to a crawl. If flexilis does away with the virus scan and focused on the restore and backup part, i would get reinterested in it.

=====================Still have the beetles installed...not using an animated screen in awhile. I free up all the Ram I can before using Skyfire. I used the contact backups the other day to restore a couple of lost contacts...I like the way you you can pick and choose what to restore.

    OMG what a POS on a q9c

Wow! I almost threw my phone at the wall, I think the windows 6.1 loading screen is pretty and all but not 10 minutes of it. after is gets past the 10 minutes of green loading screen another 10 to get to Start->Settings->Remove Programs and delete Flexilis. only took me several reboots and removing battery and rebooting again before I decided to just see what happens, if I can get into my phone ever again(so took more like 45-60 min before I finally got to the very wonderful "The software has been removed" screen, One last reboot and YAY phone works like a phone again.

I highly recommend q9c users keep waiting on this one.

Yeah, we're working on some speed issues with certain devices, though yours is the first report we've had of anything taking that long. q9's seem to be quite interesting in that not only have they given us some weird quirks most other phones don't, but now we're starting to notice other developers having q9 issues for their apps as well (more recently pocketwit, and FriendMobilizer/Facebook Mobile). We're definately working hard and dedicated to making sure all of you q9 users have a awesome flexilis experience though, and hopefully can have these issues cleaned out and the app running even quicker and better in the next release. :)

Well the app appears to do what it is supposed to do when I did get it working the first time the phone booted after install(the initial boot after install was normal, no lag at all) so maybe you can make all subsequent boots act the same as that initial boot.

I just tested beta 4 and startup time has been improved greatly. However the random lockups persist.

====================I have had the same results. It does start up better. Still does one of the random lockups at bad times. It seems to happen when I'm texting or typing emails. Causes the phone to lock at 'symbols'. When Flexilis is removed the problem goes away. Posted via Q9m/c Hybrid

Think I'll hold off still. I remember when it first came out, they said we will understand why this app is important. Still have not heard why. I dont have a need for it yet.

    Flexilis Beta 6

I've been running Beta 6 all day. Sometimes the WM cursor keeps running for a while. Except for that it seems to have most of the issues worked out. No lagging or freezing issues. Startup is quick, the back upis still handy for contacts. I still haven't heard of a WM virus though.

Which cursor? Glad to hear everything else is working out well! We added a lot of great stuff to beta 6, like the ability to backup/restore between multiple devices, and more!
