So then, does this require data plan? Or can I just download map and keep it in my phone?

you get maps from your pc and then move them over...they have a pretty detailed how-to on their site.

almost any GPS/map program will require data so that it can continue to update.

Another good GPS program is Trackr to get the GPS lock faster. Seems to work quicker then TGPS does even. the I just fire up WSL or gmaps whihc work fine for my needs and they are free also.

I just downloaded this cab and exe file and appearantly it's not working on my Nap. the cab installed fine but I can not open the program when I clicked on the icon in start menu. I then tried the pc exe on the desktop and double clicked the pc exe. It shows it's not a valid win32 application.

I had a similar problem getting the program to run, i thought it was not loading then looked in the task manager and used the switch to command and it was running just fine. Must be a program error. A very nice gps program though.

I've tried that and saw that the exe remains running in the background. I was able to get it running the first time by following brainsailing idea and then it is not working anymore. Does anyone have a working cab file?

You can upload everywhere you have been while trackr! was on. You can also allow others to view where you are Live. The tracks display on Google maps on your computer.

gotchya, and yea that I knew. IMO tho as far as people seeing where I am/was they can pound sand. I need to know where I was not anyone else in the world. This whole idea of tracking people and so forth IMO is just craziness. I really don't understand what has happen to our society where everyone has to be in contact 24/7 and know what others are doing, don't people have there own lives to worry about let alone everyone else under the sun. I personally like my personal privacy I guess, beside the fact we have none these days with big brother watching over our shoulders 24/7.
