    Nope, that didn't do it either.

    I'm not against trying some custom home screens but haven't come across any that I like... Maybe I should just give up on this and try that...

    I now left the second line in yet removed the activesync part like in the first line and now the phone wont connect to activesync at all

    Alright, just tried a few more variations and they aren't working either. I'm going to try a different home screen.

    Where can I get the one that you're using? It seemed pretty nice.

    Eek! Now even with a different home screen I can't connect to activesync at all!

    the homescreen shouldnt not allow you to connect to active sync

    I'm thinking the same thing but nothing else has changed in the last 10 minutes to make it stop working.. I just reinstalled ActiceSync and that didn't help. The computer ackowledges that I connect the phone but ActiveSync won't connect :(

    Ok, got that working again. Now that I'm back in the Application Data/Home directory I notice that whats listed there aren't all of my home screens..... Is there another spot that it might be pulling them from?

    The WIKI howto actually works, not the method earlier in this thread.

    After all was said and done I actually used one of the Home screens from the site that was posted earlier in this thread and modified it a bit with what I've learned while trying to do this :)

    hey nags does it just come up as email(23) or does it come up with email(23) with gmail under it saying (23)? gmail or what ever email u use

    I edited it to say the-nags(2) Above that it has my regular text messages

    From testing everything out I messed up my file so bad that nothing was working. Once I got a fresh file and followed the wiki it worked perfect :)
