    Disable all data connections

    Hi all,

Who can tell me what to do if I want to disconnect all dataconnections for an amount of time. I'm going to Belgium and I do not like the costs that this will bring if my mail keeps on syncing. Does anyone have an idea?

you mean like no phone calls/texts/ or data or just data?

if its all of the items just hold down the home key and go to wireless manager and turn the phone off

as far as data...you could do the 'data password' hack which wont allow any data connection unless a password is plugged in

    Only Data

What I need is only for the data connection, so 3G or HSDPA. This has do be down. Can you point me to the hack, can't find it.

    Thanks..

Hack does not work on the Q9h, now what?

Do you have any other idea to shut it down. Otherwise I will be forced to leave my Q at home.....:thumbdown

    doh!

i guess you could call your provider and see if they have anything to say about it

meaning if it will actually retrieve data...i know mine will try (but isnt able to out of this country)
  7. I would call your provider and they should do it for you. Especially if you have a data plan.
