I did that already. I tried to re-flash with the same version but it won't let you.

Anyone know of a way to reflash with the same version?

seems to me that my battery life is poor only when I forget to kill instant messaging after a reset. If I remember to kill that, the battery seems to last forever. Anyone have the reg entry or method to stop IM from starting all together on a reset?

It goes back to default so you would have to go into the im client and uncheck the start on pwr up option

Curiousity got to the best of me and I installed activesync on a VM. When I connect the phone to the VM via activesync it does not restart as it does to my laptop.

It's almost as if the update messed up activesync on my laptop.

At least I can write the issue off as being related to my laptop only. :2cool:

I'm still trying to find a fix for the Opera simply not starting. Anyone that used the Moto release of the update having this issue, or is it limited to just the mexiken release?

It's not that opera doesnt work.. it's just that sometimes, randomly it just doesnt open.. usually turning off/on fixes it..

I have Mexiken's release and i have the same issue.. I just dont use Opera that often so i could care less.

    :Sigh:

There is no difference in the files. They are identical, bit by bit. The only difference is how they are loaded into the phone, and that process is virtually identical as well. They're just "wrapped" slightly differently. And no, different "wrappings" wouldn't make Opera work or not work. If anything, the issue is related to your phone via installed app conflicts.

I navigated to the Opera Launch icon from the Windows folder, and have never had a problem with it....

My pop accounts won't delete email off the server when I delete them on the phone even though I have that feature enabled on the phone. I didn't have a problem in 6.0. Anyone see this? I keep getting the same deleted emails downloaded again.

Mine's not pop but imap(gmail) and they don't delete off the server but they won't reload twice, weird how it knows but it does.

I switched to imap and that seems to work properly with our server.
