    Default Calendar-birthdays

Is there anyway on the default calendar program to have people's birthday's show up automatically? I really don't want to pay for a 3rd party program yet.

    Thanks

I noticed there is a birthday field, but it doesn't carry to calendar. That would be the best implementation. WM 5 Pocket PC has the same issue. I know you are looking to avoid 3rd party apps, but you might need something along the lines of Extreme Agenda for this capability.

well, if you user Microsoft Outlook, on the details tab for a contact, you can put their birthday and anniversary, and it will put it in your calendar.

That is how i do mine.

Does it show up on your Q calendar? I added a birthday to a contact in my Q and it doesn't show up.

i have never done it that way. i always have put that data in my contact in Outlook, and then it will show up in my Q. i have never tried putting it in my Q, and then having it show up.

maybe i need to try that.

I'm on a Mac, but have some birthdays in my Q. Odd, birthdays that sync over from my Mac ARE in my calendar. Adding a birthday to a contact in my Q is not in my calendar? I'm going to try a different date - I set a birthday as 8/1/2006, so it might be tough for the Q to display an actual birth date.
