    Your Welcome.
    I was going to have you do SFC/scannow next. LOL

    And you forced me to start thinking. (UGH!) But I was wondering if anything happened to my computers @ home would I be prepared. Both of them are built using SlipStreamed CD's. Yeah, Restore is good but doesn't always work. So did a big hunt through my stuff and found what I needed. Had almost everything just not where they were handy. And had to do a search for the program that puts Windows XP and SP's onto 1 CD in case my CD's didn't work. It should have been with the rest of the stuff & I would have been p*ssed if I had to look for something when I wanted to be busy fixing things! LOL

    Enjoy your evening & get some rest. Tomorrow is another day in paradise. :wink:

    Are you connecting to exchange with these PC's? Where is the exchange server hosted? Are you sure you have all the server info entered correctly in outlook.

    so for pop and smtp you have the hosts address right? Maybe try entering their IP address instead of their DNS name?

    **update**

    for some weird reason Matt's solution -polling at the ip instead of the address- worked !!! so i got on the horn with the hosting co. and they said "well, that should not work".. i said well it does so you don't touch anything there :}

    rb is in a much better mood...

    I was just thinking, what do you have setup as the DNS address on the new pc's? It should be your server's IP address.

    yea... the DNS on the pc's points to the domain server as on all the other pc's..
