ah i see...
any thoughts on why his isnt working...?
Didn't work. Also having issues with the clock overlaying the date but that's something I'll have to work on later. The bottom line is that the code that should produce black keys isn't producing black keys.
<color name="COLOR_BTNFACE" value="#000000"/>
You would think black would be supported.
do other colors work?
From what I can tell, yes. I haven't quite figured out where they all go but I have modified the majority of the colors.
Solution: registry hacks.
Or: using the black scheme you can get from my page on the Plugins page.
i have that plugin installed on my Q....but in theory you shouldnt need that to customize the softkeys....
Just if you want black or custom color softkeys, like described in the link I provided. ;-)
try using this...i use this to get started on homescreens....then bring it to xml and modify it
That's exactly why I'm confused
You can't use black with this program either.
yea you can i have done it
Not this way
leave it grey at the top and then save it...dont do anything else...go in to the xml file and look at the color and change it to black #000000 and load it back in to the the editor and your set
edit: you will that btnface doesnt show up as the color for the softkeys...but color_traygradleft does....
Tried this and it didn't work. Got it to work up until install and it read install unsuccessful
It won't let me create the .cab file. I altered the XML document to display 000000 in TRAYGRADLEFT and transferred over and it didn't change it to black. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH MY Q? lol
I'm working with the latest software and multiple registry hacks, I don't know if that makes a difference
dont make it a cab file...
copy the xml file and the jpg image to the \application data\home folder
much easier...ive had trouble with the cab portion...i just dont use it
i use the program to set up my colors and alignments and then mess with the xml file to get it correct
I did that after attempting to do the .cab file. It still doesn't turn it black.
lol....have you tried to make another homescreen as a test?
There must be an error in your source code. You may wanna post your files here and I'll have a look.
I'm new to this (although I'm learning very quickly) so try not to laugh too hard at my coding. It's a modified version of a preinstalled theme.
