    Corporate Outlook setup

Hello - I am trying to get my corporate email pushed to my Q (on Sprint).

My coworker has a blackberry and has it setup to check his corporate webmail account to update email on his Q Outlook account. I only see POP3 and IMAP4 account options, where he has the option of setting up an HTTP type.

I can use AutoSync with the USB cable attached to my computer to download email and calendar items, but I want to be able to do this without the cable :)

    Thank you in advance!

Does your work use an exchange server? If so:
Go to activesync on your phone and hit menu. Then go to configure server. Input the data that it asks for. If you don't know it ask your IT guy. Then under options you can set it up to push your mail as often as you like.

ActiveSync did it! I was trying to set up a new email account, not with ActiveSync. I entered whe webmail.domain.com server via Configure Server in ActiveSync, selected requires SSL, and entered my domain username and password. Works like a charm. Thanks!!

    webmail from Microsoft Exchange Server

Having problems getting my office email sent to my Q -

    the server is webmail.domain.com

I can't seem to make this work. I have attempted to set up new email account and have also found this thread with the activesync info and I'm not having any luck...I have no problems getting it on my notebook but am stuck getting the email to the Q.

    Thanks for the help.

    Step1: Go to this link
Download the cab file put it on your phone and install it.. It has your Certificates.

Now other thing is that there is an issue on your site.
    webmail.mstservices.com/microsoft-server-activesync. Its "Accepting client certificates"

If you have access to the server, then

    Open IIS
Open properties of virtual directory Microsoft -Server-ActiveSync Properties
    Select Directory Security tab Select

    Secure communications\Edit:
Require secure channel (SSL) should be unchecked
Ignore Client Certificates should be checked - You have this unchecked.

it looks like a certificate issue.
what server address are you entering in your activesync settings?

it might be that your certificate is issued to something else. For example your owa address is mail.domain.com and your certificate is issued to domain.com or something else. it needs to be same.
  11. Shot in the dark, but doesn't the blackberry platform have its own server software. Could this be conflicting with other devices?
