Sure...I understand that. For me, I had my iPod first and like it for the fact that it can slip onto my arm and never gets in the way during cardio or lifting. Couldn't do that with my Saga (or Q). Much too bulky for me for that purpose. When I'm working on benching 100 to 130% of my bodyweight, I don't need distractions <G> Distractions get you hurt.

My Chemical Romance motivates me to put on black eyeliner, get my razor blade out and cut my wrists. :)

Dead or Alive is awsome! Youthquake was an amazing album! If you want to see some plastic surgery gone bad, look for current pics of Peter Burns....

Look up emo bands. It was meant as humor as I don't partake in wrist cutting. I actually enjoy life.

I'm curious Cheri...what bands do you listen to that you consider to be punk rock?

ok. Don't know what an emo band is.

That may be true and I may be hypersensitive to the subject. Someone I'd give my life for without hesitation became suicidal this past year and required intervention and treatment. To heal, that person had to realize for themselves what life is and what it holds and why it is worth living. You simply can't do it for them. Such an experience profoundly changes you and your outlook on life and I cringe when someone jokes about it or even worse, is that way and cries out for help--and people miss the cry.

It's a play on the words from Glenn Campbells "Rhinestone Cowboy"...

"Like a rhinestone cowboy...getting cards and letters from people I don't even know...and offers coming over the phone."

Ok, got ya. I never heard that part. Once the song starts, I hear a click, from the radio getting turned off.

When my dad was alive, he was a HUGE country-music fan, which was funny, considering he was born in East New York, and raised in Brooklyn!

I dont like having an arm band thingy(unless it was made out of body armor or something similar), wireless headsets do not have enough volume for me. I just move my case and clip around my waist band from front, back or side depending on what I am doing. I wont ever bench press 100-130% of my body weight that would be freakish for me lol. Leg press well that is a different story :-D Cardio I usually am elliptical or gauntlet and just put a magazine rack on the machine and put the Q there.

Speaking of cheese....I do have "something stupid" FrankJr and Nancy Sinatra ...kinda creepy and cheesy lol.

Heck if I know...I listen and if I like it then its good :)
I probably could ask folks that are or were really "into" the punk scene/genres.

Glenn Campbell was one of my fav's growing up, Hank Williams(Sr), Crystal Gail (remember her hair!).

I guess I was lucky to be exposed to many different genres. Some people arent amazing as that is to me lol.
