    Charging Screen

Still searching for an answer to this one.
Is there any way to have the battery icon screen turn off during wall charging? Seems silly to have the screen on overnight for every charge.
Appreciate any help with this one.

There is no known solution. Only way to keep the screen off is to have the device ON while charging.

hmmm...guess there's really no negatives to keeping it on while charging.
Seems more of a negative to have the screen lit all night....
    Thanks for the reply.

I've sent a request for comment to Moto...keep you posted.

    After much reading....

....I've decided it's better not to have the display on while charging.
Leave the Q9m on...but turn the "radio" off. The screen can then be blanked with the display on/off button, and the battery will charge without the drain of the radio being powered.

    Motorola Follow-up

Well, the above works well. Just turn off the phone using the "wireless manager" and you can charge without the battery icon screen lit all night.

Heard back from Motorola today...tisk, tisk...here's their solution.
(have they been talking to Palm??) :gasp:
