    "Charge Complete"

    We've all seen this screen:

    Info
    Charge Complete.
    OK

I'd like never to see it again. I've seen others ask for a way to disable it, but I've seen no answer to it. Does anyone have one?

This problem is particularly irritating when your phone locks.

I too would like to find a way to turn this off. It constantly beeps after the charge each night while it is on my nightstand and I have to hit OK after it wakes me up.:frown:

i actually searched on this exact topic last night here at this site and at Qusers (a handful of threads there) but nobody has come up with a solution yet. there's gotta be something burried deep in the registry somewhere.

I would also like to disable this screen. Nice to see there is someone else that uses their Q as an alarm clock. It is annoying when I wake up in the middle of the night, roll over to check the time, and I have to hit OK before I can see it. Besides this little bit more that minor annoyance, I love using the Q as my alarm clock.

It doesn't really bother me that much, but I would like to know how to disable it (if there is a way). However, I haven't found one yet.

Why not just charge with your Q off?

    1) wouldn't be able to receive phone calls
    2) wouldn't be able to sync with computer
    3) wouldn't receive alarms
    4) couldn't look at upcoming appointments/tasks

You get the idea. Turning off your phone is less of an option than getting annoying notifications saying it's done charging. If you're like me, you use your Q pretty heavily and charge it whenever you have the chance. I connect it to my computer whenever I'm at my desk at work and when I'm home.

    1) Why do you want to receive calls while sleeping: quote from ashoush in this thread - "I too would like to find a way to turn this off. It constantly beeps after the charge each night while it is on my nightstand and I have to hit OK after it wakes me up."

2)I'm assuming you are doing the rest of these things while awake, but lots of previous posters were complaining about this screen coming up while there were sleeping. Your post came after mine, so I wouldn't know about your situation yet....lol, but your right, if you are awake its kind of a pain. :2cool:

I don't get the sound because I have my system sounds volume set to off.

Owning a company and handling the issues that may come up with my clients and employees I need to be able to receive phone calls at any time. Having my phone on all the time has become a reality that I may not like but have no choice.

Do a search for MortScript and CTScheduler for a fix on this. It doesn't "fix" it, but if you set CTScheduler up to run a MortScript at a certain time you dedicate to charging your phone (i.e. When you go to sleep) it will check for that screen ("Main Battery" screen) and will close it.

It doesn't bother me, but try that.

If you set your sound profile to Automatic, you can schedule the calendar for when you sleep and have it automatically turn off the sound during that scheduled appointment (sleep), then go back to normal at other times. I find this feature handy to keep the phone from ringing while in class.
