He joins Brooklyn (David Beckham's son)/Apple/Suri/Jett and let's not forget the old time favorites: Dweezil and Moon Unit.

    Celebrities are just "weird"...

I wanted to name my oldest North Carolina but my mother wouldn't let me. I thought it was unique. One of my friends husband is a huge Michael Jordan fan so their son is Michael and their daughter is Jordan.

My oldest is Bari (after Barry Manilow- I needed "B" for my grandmother, & - never mind...)...THR, why not Carolina? I have someone who named daughter "Caroline" because she is a huge Neil Diamond fan...Richard's cousin is a Mets fan and swore if he had a son his name was going to be Mookie....

My oldest was a boy so Carolina wouldn't have worked.

I liked the name Bronx, it's a manly name.

I like Brooklyn better than Bronx. At least all these names are better than what my Mom's friend named her kid; Quasi Moto.

I'm guessing they were saying that She is Wonderful everyday of the year....but couldn't they just have told her that instead of naming her that??

Took the words right out of my mouth Sherri! And yes, they did name their son Quasi Moto.....but I get bombarded with ghetto names all the time, usually after some popular alcohol; Alizé, Moet, Bacardi, etc.

This thread has turned into reminding me of the person who woke up and saw "Female" marked on the baby's hospital crib and said oh they named my baby for me "Fe-mall-ee" :frown: poor child.
