    boost mobile and my Q

i probably know the answer but maybe someone smarter than I. ok, ive just about had it with Verizon, ive had my Q for 3 years and i love it, just dont like verizon. i was thinking prepaid with boost mobile. i know they have an unlimited talk/text/web for $50 a month and that sounds great. i know from the literature you can use cdma on the unlimited but i have no idea if i have to "unlock" the Q or what. any help would be appreciated very much.

You would need the boost monster flash file. (cant help ya w/ that one though)

Then use rsd lite to flash the ROM to your phone.

I know a guy who runs one of those authorized dealer shops with a couple different carriers to choose from, and he says he can flash qs' to boost mobile all day long.

so after some research, you can do it (for now). although the new nationwide unlimited plan is for iDEN not CDMA.
apparently boost is planning to phase out CDMA support over time by forcing customers to iDEN gradually...
