    Best Windows Phone 7 Apps

Thinking this would be a good placeholder for the eventual list of the best apps for Windows Phone 7.

    Have you any favourites?

I'm still indecisive about Android, Windows or iPhone thus still on the outdated symbian.. Love Windows though and Google :D

I like the interface a lot and not because it's different. The face of Windows Phone 7 is not a rectangular grid of thumbnail-sized glossy-looking icons, arranged in a pattern of 4x4 or so, like basically every other phone. No, instead, an oversized set of bright, superflat squares fill the screen.

I had used Android OS for about a year. The problem with Android OS is its Apps are not control due to fragment of this OS - so many versions. Some Apps froze up the phone. Some drain battery very quick. I just use WP7 lately So far, I like this OS better than Android interm of emails notification. I like people hub and Zune music interfaces. It is easier to get music synce with WP7. There is no such system available on Android for music and video.
    My favorite WP7 apps:
    - Netflix
    - Yelp
    - Facebook
    - Twitter
    - Xbox Live
    and many games.
I hope that Angry Bird comes to WP7 soon...

TED is based off of http://www.ted.com/ which gives technology/engineering talks. Lots of interesting speakers and topics.

Yelp is an application that reviews things. Restaurants/night life/etc.

Just d/l and try. they are free.

I'm a big fan of feed reader and the weather bug app.

Free and up. There are plenty of good free apps. Games can get a bit costly.

...but not that costly - $3-$7.50 or so for XBL games. The expensive ones are deep games with lots of replay value.

The weather apps in here are all "ok" but is there a weather app where the live tile is dynamic? Like let's say would show rain if it's raining at your location? In fact, does anyone know of any apps that have dynamic live tiles for the home page?

Edit: I guess the weather channel one is supposed to have a dynamic tile, but mine just sits on a picture??

The weather bug weather app updates the live tile based on the location you select (it doesn't yet do based on your current location) in the preferences. It will update the picture based on weather conditions and time of day (if it's night it's a different color and picture). It also pushes severe weather alerts and will show the count in the live tile. I hated weather bug for the iPhone but they did a really nice job on the WP7.

The weather channel does the same thing (color for night/day, image for weather). It updates, but it's not a video. So, if "dynamic" means changes, then yes, if it means moving, then no.

IIRC with the weather channel app, you have to activate the live tile in the settings or something of the like, but even then I don't believe it updates as often/dynamically as weatherbug does
