Just wonderinng how the battery life
Slightly depends on your usage. The very first day I was able to tear through the standard battery pretty quickly with all the downloads, internet and general usage. With mild usage and having wireless sync setup I was gettin about 30 hours of battery life, now with the extended battery I get around 48 hours.
How much thicker is the Extended battery? Does it bulk up the phone?
I have been less than thrilled with the battery life. I took my phone off the charger at around 8:30am and by 8:30pm the battery was dead.
This was with what I would consider light to medium call usage and no internet, games, etc.
As I said, less than thrilled.
The Extended battery bulks up the phone only slightly, IMHO. As the form factor is wider on the Q, it disperses the size increase only slightly. The size increase is negligible. Also, it still fits the plastic battery holster if you use one, as the battery/cover faces OUTSIDE. It's a worthwhile trade-off to get better battery life..
the extended battery is the only way to go! i don't even use my slim battery any more.
you know .. i play with my phone all day while at work.. (shhh!!.. lol) and its last all day .. and this is with the standard battery..
Here are a few quick pictures of my Q with the extended battery.

that takes away the slim look too much!! cant they just make an extended battery thats the same size with more power!! geesh!
Its actually not too bad. It adds a bit of weight to the phone but it seems to fit better in my hand. I wish they could just jam pack more battery power in the standard battery, that would be ideal.
well imma lil so i like my "lil q"
