I just got this installed. I've only played a little, but it looks promising. No issues with Extreme Text or anything. Only downfall (& a MINOR one, considering it's free) is that if it's not running in the background, you will get no notification at all since you have to turn the default sound to 'none'. I just try to kill all applications as much as possible to save battery life...but I guess keeping this and Photo Contacts Pro (v 4.0 - arghh!!) running at all times will have to do...

Thank you for your comment. It doesn't use up battery juice that much though :)

When I change my profile setting to "Meeting" so the notification will vibrate, I still get the audio version (.wav file) of the notification that I have attached to that particular contact.... :(

Really sucked in the movie theater when my phone when off because of a new text message.... and surprised the hell out of me because I changed my profile setting to vibrate just before walking into the theater... :)

Is there a fix or is this a bug??

    Tomsey...

    InboxTones

    FYI

Don't know if you are aware, but InboxTones was just released and it does this and more. Works great with the Q. It's on sale until April 15th. You should check it out for email & sms Contact ringtones.

Sorry for the double post but InboxTones also adjusts sound output based on profile setting. If the profile is set to vibrate, meeting, etc., the audio files will not play but the vibrate still triggers.

I think InboxTones will do what you want. Great app (I think I said that already).
