    @n99hockey, did you set a default tone or an individual tone for the contact first?
    did the number format contain a "+" sign before the digits?

    can you please check in your contact list if there is an entry in the Pager Number portion? there should be an entry like: \Storage Card\Tones\hello.wav

    OIST refuses to start/open again after i "hid" it and went to SMS Tones..

    ps. i think the "default" contact list still exists because it show the list when you select a contact in SMS Tones.

    @rb:
    OIST refuses to start/open again after i "hid" it and went to SMS Tones..
    - yes that is still a bug hehehe. what i do i i just make it run in the background without "hiding" it.

    @n99hockey:
    when i went to read the message i was locked in this screen
    i hit menu then hide and it didnt go anywhere i had to hit exit in order to read the message or do anything

    also the sound didnt play just a beep sound

    - can you please try the non beta version? so that the message window wont appear. also, there should be no other sms messaging application running because the message interception might create a conflict.
    BTW my device is an HTC Excalibur running on WM6

    i am using my own threaded sms with built in individual sms tone. i think birdsoft can add this little feature in their application as well.

    you should set your sms message tone in your phone's settings to "none" so it wont play it twice :)
    but it should play the individual tone. unless the tone isn't a wav tone.
