    Hey!

    I'm the developer of a pretty unique WP app called Web Tiles. It allows the user to select an area of a web page and make it into a Live Tile that will update as scheduled by the user.

    The Schedule Updates -feature allows you to set your tiles update times and frequency. It even allows you to set your tile to update to different selections (from different pages) at different times. Also, the app uses a Windows Azure backend which handles all the web page rendering, image resizing, and cropping, so it is very battery and bandwith friendly as well.
