aol mail help
i have looked all over and cant seem to find how to sent AOL mail to instant recieve
you would need a third party Push mail application...a bunch of threads here on that!
ok so just search for ....?
could try "push"!!
some options are mobipush, seven, pusheffect...or forwarding to windows live!! I'm sure there are more ways...
well i was wondering for like a regestry edit. or something but ill try tht and let you kno
since aol is too short for a search, try this..
This has always been my favorite trick! VERY handy for Craistlist.org.
i just need a setting so my email will be recieved instantly. like when i get an email it goes to my phone. instantly. cause now it only does every 15 min. and for some reason my internet on my Q just stops. like no in or out. but if im constantly on the intrenet. it doesnt stop which is mysolution to tht problem.
you have made a full circle and are back to checking into push mail applications...
LoL ok well so it does have the setting tho? cause thats all i need
there is absolutely no registry setting for push..sorry!
(plus I would of mentioned that earlier!) :laugh2:
check out alerts.aol.com - i just tell it which type of emails I want flagged, then i get an SMS to check my aol mail... go to the MAIL>MAIL ALERTS section. Works perfect for me...
ok so thats wat aol mail is? its push. cause its "pushed" to my Q? (sry im sloww at all this)
Try the service mobipush.com which I came across in one of the posts before. I personally didn't like it but it does what it says and its free. See if that helps you.
it does work for aol, but right now be aware that it was sending my aol e-mails in the read stage, not un-read so i didn't get the new mail notification, thus i removed my account completely from their service.....
but it was really sweet, cept it literally pushed your aol mail to your phone and there was no copy on the aol server....
I have used seven and i think it still leaves me new mail on the server, as well as have it being downloaded on outlook....i hope i can keep at least 1 copy to access on my pc and another copy for my mobile
sweet, thanks for posting this for those who will find it useful. I don't personally use AOL but appreciate the feedback on this.
