Anyone hit up AT&T or T-Mobile and get a BOGO deal? Stores crowded?

My wife and I bought two Samsung Focus' last week, but the manager of the ATT store we use said that if I call him tomorrow he would refund me the cost of one of the phones! :D

Completely. My only real complaints are things that are going to be fixed in January anyway. We think the phones are awesome.

I let my friend play with my focus last night, he just got an iphone 4 and was seriously considering trading it in, he was very impressed with the focus.

The thing is, the sale is not really a BOGO. I went in to ATT. I am due for an upgrade, but wife is not, and we both wanted a WP7. So, I figured we could get 2 new phones for $199. I was told that the "free" phone had to be for a new activation or an upgrade. Since my wife did not qualify, we could not do it.

That's too bad. What did you end up doing? Did you get the phones anyway?

I was fortunate enough to get the cost of one of our phones refunded yesterday, but we both were upgrades.

No we did not get both phones, as it would have been $199 for me and $499 for my wife. I will probably go by Costco today or tomorrow and pick up a Focus for $99. I can hardly wait.

Rumor on Twitter is that the BOGO deal is being extended to those who made a purchase within the past 30 days. My GF, who is the primary account holder, is going to give AT&T a call tomorrow morning and see if we can be compensated. *Fingers crossed*

My Gf called AT&T this morning and got the runaround. Looks like we have to go to the store where we made the purchase.

Someone commented on our post and they had no problem in-store. Sounds like that's the best route.

I just went to AT&T and received a credit for my second Focus. They even gave me the option of returning it to my card used for the purchase. I just had it credited. I am very happy about this.
