Yeah, I use that case and it's fine. I wish they'd made a zippered front flap though, cause then I'd have storage for business cards or a credit card or whatever.

Easy enough for me to flip it open with very little effort with my hand, but if I shake the pouch around the magnet is strong enough to keep the flap closed... not sure how else to describe it...

I think thats the same one that came with my Black Q. If so, its not the flap you should be concerned with as much as the belt clip. It doesnt have a lip on it (for a lack of better description), but you know the part where it would kind of lock it onto your belt. This one is just smooth and has a tendancy to slide right off my belt. I have only used it a few times, but each time after a few minutes I would reach down and feel it, and it would be ab out half way off my belt. I actually ordered this one the other day, it will be here on Monday.

The part in the circle is what is missing from the pouch.

Ok, I'll stop posting about this after this one :) In this pic you can kinda tell what I mean. The difference with this pouch and the one that came with my Q is that the clip on this one is covered with leather, mine is just plastic.

It's got the Moto "M" symbol on it, but I doubt they make it themselves. I'm not even sure that they made the Q itself, either.

guys dont buy this pouch it is horrible. If your belt is bigger than a 1980's leather tie it will fall off.

Alsmost lost my 3 day old Q today. It fell off and someone turn it into a lost and found at the health club. So be warned if you still want one hit me up and I will send you mine.

I just got my Seidio holster yesterday, and I love it. I was pretty worried about the rubberized black Q getting scratched, but it doesnt seem like it is going to. It fits real tight in the holster and it's still easy to get out with the spring clip. I think $30 is a bit steep for a holster, but so far I think this is well worth it. I dont think I would be worried about even having it on while riding (although probably not when I ride dirt :) ).

Yes, both the silver and black Q share the same physical dimensions.

My suggestion would be to put your Q in a pocket (breast or inside) with a zipper or Velcro. The phone would be kinda handy and you won't have to worry about losing your phone. Q is a precious thing, cherish it. LOL!

I had that case. It's pretty useless. It has an extra flap that makes Q bulkier and harder to take in & out of pocket. Does provide complete protection though. If you are looking at this one I would check out Iconic moto Q pouch w/o extra flap. Just my experience.

The Motorola Pouch isn't bad if you are into fanny packs.
