Finally! A collective sigh of relief that we can now kill pigs with aplomb.

Seems like the lowest price point for an XBL game is $2.99 (with weekly sales at ~$1.99).

Yeah I feel for anybody who has not had the joy of killing time with Angry Birds. It is a great all around game for kids and adults. Also with the prices of video games these days and the amount of levels you get for the money it is a bargain. It has saved me quite a few headaches on road trips the last couple years because the boy loves the game so I ration it to him only for long rides.

I don't understand why people keep asking this.

Its plain obvious iOS and Andriod have like 10x (probably more) the market share of WP7, and therefore Microsoft have to charge more to guarantee a good profit for the developers. If theres no money in it for the developers, they'll be like rats leaving a sinking ship.

As and when WP7 becomes a proper player in the smartphone game, the prices will be able to drop.

There was an update for Angry Birds the other day, that added a load of levels that were marked as coming soon before.
