My Q Noted Me Its Installed. Lol
Now Do I Head Into The Program To Save N Transfer?
Or Into My Phone To Transfer?
real important 4 restoring backup file
when im sending the files back to my q should the program does a "soft reset" should i leave my fone off in the process ? or turn back on ?
i did a master reset. what is suppose to happen? absoultly nothing changed. I even did it 2 times to make sure. all my messages contacts. EVERYTHING is the same.
:gaspooooooooooh boy dont say that... ur contacts was losted? or just not in order
but did u make a backup file?
yes i backed up basically my whole phone. just nothing changes when i hit master reset it just turns my phone off.
You can also Master Reset by holding the center button and pressing the red power button with the phone off.
thank you! that did the trick!:foot:
ummmmmmmmmm i wannna no if i can edit the backup thats on my pc b4 putting it back on to my phone ? n how
cause i think the program has back up my text msgs and i dont want that.
its been 5hrs and the files are still restoring to my q.
and the only thing i can think its doing its add back the texts msgs
where did you back up the contacts ? if it's in Jeyo Companion you should be able to edit the contacts.
i use sprite.
can i edit the back up file?
nope, you can not....
y is it taking so long to restore
dunno..... what's the size of the backup ? (i have never restored a backup but seeing a backup takes about 2 minutes on my Q i would think a restore wouldn't take that much longer but again, have never actually restored a backup)
the size 25,0 mb
25mb sounds about right..and so does 2 minutes!
Having a lot of trouble understanding what Jah Worm is talking about or trying to do. If you are just trying to delete your text messages try Inboxextender. It has a delete all function.
If you are trying to clean out your phone with a master reset then do not use sprite but reinstall your app and setup your email and hacks again. Sprite will just put everything back the way it was.
I'm never letting my text messages build up again like this. I have upwards of id say about 8000 text messages on my phone and I too am having problems deleting them all. As suggested, Ive tried InboxExtender, it freezes just like the "empty folder" option does regularly. i've let it sit overnight and the phone is still frozen in the morning... Ive tried JEYO's mobile extender for office and it has trouble even synchronizing the messages, let alone deleting all of them off the device. when I tell it to clear out the inbox it just hangs and will sit overnight just like the other two methods.. I really want to avoid a master reset here, its such a hassle my phone is nice and broken in lol... any other suggestions guys?
Oh yeah, tried doing them 1 by 1 too, and no matter how I try it, (e.i. delete a bunch, empty deleted items folder, go back and delete some more, end the txtmessage process) once I reboot the phone, all the messages are back... Grrrr
UPDTATE - Went ahead and did the hard reset after all, and that fixed me right up. Sure it was a bit more work but I forgot how fast the phone moves when its not bogged down w/ all my programs and such :tounge:
