Can I use iTunes to sync music to my Q?

I have done some searches and I haven't found what I am looking for.

I would like to use iTunes to sync music to my Q. I have several albums by various artists, and iTunes has split those song files up and arranged them in folders by artist. That is why it is hard for me to just use Windows Explorer and click and drag. My library is in mp3 format already, so that is not an issue.

I have checked out iTunes Agent. (http://ita.sourceforge.net) It seems like it would do what I want, but I can't get it to recognize my Q. After reading, I think it might be because Windows does not assign a drive letter to the Q. If anyone knows how I can do that, that would be great.

I also have looked at TuneSync (http://www.itunespocketpc.com/). This also looks promising, but there is not trial and I am worried it won't work. I have Vista and it lists XP/2000 as its compatible OS's. It is only $9.95, but I don't want to spend it until I know it works.

Sorry about this long post, but if anyone knows of any software out there that will work for this, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

never heard of anyone being able to sync the Q with itunes...
it appears the software will work...says works with windows mobile smartphone...and as long as they are mp3s not the copyrighted music...

also...at the very bottom of the page you can click on the 'contact us' link and you will be taken to a form that you can ask questions to the makers if you need definate confirmation and to ask if it doesnt work can you get your money back

Thanks for the reply. I have sent the question to the makers of TuneSync. When I get a reply and try it out, I will let you know how it works.

Why not just open Media Player and set it up to point to the Itunes library root directory. After Media Player updates it's library database, you can use it to synch to your Q.

I have thought of this. But I would really like it all in one place. I find iTunes just a bit easier to use than Media Player.

Nope, no word yet. I got the standard - "We received your question and will get back to you, yadda yadda...."

I am guessing it is because of the weekend that I haven't heard back yet.

Well, I got tired of waiting for a response to my email from customer support. So I thought I would call. I called the number at the bottom of the website, and it said to call another number. So I did. And it was to talk with hot horny women in my local area. So then I thought - you must be joking! What kind of place is this...only to realize I called 1800- instead of 1866-. Whoops!

Anyway, I called and could not speak to anyone live. I was told to leave a message. So I decided to risk it. It is only $9.95. And it works. I have Vista and it syncs a designated playlist from my computer to my Q. At first, it seems to stall, but just be patient. I only synced two songs on my first run and it was pretty quick <30 seconds I would say.
