Idea for Mobile HTML Editor
hey guys, I know this kinda sounds like a useless idea...and I havent seen any around...which is why I think its a cool idea
Im a freelance web developer ive actually found myself needing to create some simple html pages...and since im no where near my PC, ive built them in Microsoft Word, saved them as text documents and changed the extension to html.
so I figured creating an HTML editor would be useful for me as well as other people. I am kinda rusty on my VB coding, but not very good at mobile phone programming...which is why I was wondering if anyone is interested in working with me on the project.
It will be released to the public, not sure if I will charge or make it open source...but thats the least of my worries.
let me know if you are interested. If anyone has any other ideas, feel free to share

welcome aboard....
you mean like a wysiwyg html editor ? idea ain't bad i guess, but damn if it's anything like the desktop wysiwyg editors, it will be a b*tch to work with :}
(don't mind me, i code html in DOS/4dos/Notepad :}

yeah thats pretty much what im looking to make....think of it as a Mobile Dreamweaver...on a very simple scale
I also do HTML in notepad...but its damn annoying having to access the special chars menu when I need < > or other chars....and then saving, renaming the extension blah blah.
I know it wont be advanced, but I will try to include as many short cuts as possible

i avoid the special character screen by using QCaps... then again, i only do minor html adjustments on the Q.

Wordpad can insert most html elements from its menu.

Funny how many google searches lead me back here. I would love to be able to edit HTML and do FTP on my phone.
