That really sucks. I will sometimes type out a whole message without realizing that the stupid FN lock is on. I f'ing hate it! pisses me off to no end

Are you sure you have the new ROM? Wasn't that supposed to be fixed? Mine does not have that issue with new ROM.

any text entry is set to FN by default. My guess is because its a phone first. Mine was like that before the update too. I just got used to pressing fn once to get in alpha mode, but if there is a fix

Phone first???? What are you taling about? You can use this as a phone, as in to call someone???

I recently had exchange server install in our offices. The forced secuirty policy is in effect that has been described in other posts.

My problem is when I look at the registry to make the approrpate fix, it stops well short of the 00001023 registry item.



I've also tried to change the FN lock setting, but this registry item doens't exist (HKLM/Software/Samsung/MMS/Settings/AddressInputMode).

Any thoughts? I'm using CERegistryEditor.
