HELP! Do you have an unpatched Saga?

If so, we need your help! If you have a Saga with the original ROM without the VZW gps patch, can you help us?

Step1 Go to Start, Settings, System, About and verify that you do NOT have Build 20961.1.5.1

Step2 Download this file http://67.122.16.97/lars/misc/smartp...les_dumper.zip , extract the executable within and copy to your phone.

Step3 Insure you have an SD card with available space in your phone and run the app. Push the button and it will extract the ROM files to a folder on the SD called Dump.

Step4 Copy the folder Dump to a PC and zip it up by right clicking on the Dump folder and selecting Send To - Compressed Archive. Rename the file to <your forum handle>.zip Then send it to me via the following link http://www.victorydocs.com/sendfile

Step5 Post here to let me know and you will be hailed a hero.

There are several bugs in the new Saga ROM that could possibly be eliminated by replacing the defective files with ones from the old ROM.

Jon, was that your file this morning? It's a different build than my phone. As suspected Soundtest, the mail app and lots of other files are different between the two ROMs.

It'll take a bit of time to brick my phone now.... uh I mean analyze the situation.
