after being told that the pre is better than my phone, lol because it can auto connect to available wifi access points for faster web browsing than the phones data connection, i googled and lo and behold there is a app called wefi that already does this. It is not made for the omnia's resolution, but after first set up you never have to see it again.............i think.
Only thing so far is that i have to disable the phone's broadband manually whenever it is connected, but i am sure there is a setting for that somewhere.
This is a free app and you can find it here
http://www.wefi.com/
this may or may not be the best app for it but it definitely destoyed my friends 1 plus over my omnia today
*couldnt find a setting to disable that and really wifi is a non issue for me since i have unlmtd data anyway, so after winning that challenge this can now be uninstalled

I can never get Pandora to connect on my phone using the dial up, but it will connect using wifi, can anyone help me get this connected, or is it because my connection is at 1x and not evdo?

with that being said though i would recommend just going with the coreplayer instead of tcpmp.
i have found the way to get it to work in landscape mode and it is now my DEFAULT media player. I just watched paranormal activity on it maybe 3 days ago and had no problems whatsoever.
Also with youtube mobile becoming more and more useless with the "this video cannot be viewed on a mobile device" error, Coreplayer shines in the fact that it actually has a built in youtube player that plays EVERYTHING.
I have ALOT of new apps to post to you guys about and get u learn-ed
on, but i just haven't had a chance or really felt like it,
But when i do start posting like that again it's gonna be like a whirlwind
......prolly

Do u want to organize ur start menu, just a lil bit better?
I use hcomber found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=507299
what this is, is a app that allows to change the icon for anything in ur start menu.
With that being said i made folders in my start menu for each category of apps and assigned each one its own unique icon.
So instead of the everything/allovertheplace start menu i have a faster loading one that looks like this

o yeah and i get MY icons from here
