Just installed and upgraded...everything seems fine so far...will keep you all posted...

    - hulu doesn't work in browser
    - live radio casts off from their sites don't seem to work in browser
    - new IE does seem a bit better than the old
    - still very sluggish stay with skyfire for now

-typing in txt's is seems just as quick, possibly a slight bit slower

-can't install google app's will need to unlock phone(is there a fight brewing)
    - Skyfire works and seems twice as fast as before(could just be a really good network connection)
    -Palringo works

I'll try unlocking the phone tomorrow, the down load went smoothly and so far seems like everything sync'd up just fine.

    11-8-09 Update:
The battery life is a huge improvement, my birthday was the 5th and my phone was blowing up all day, I also was streaming music the entire day over bluetooth, before the upgrade this would have drained my battery in about 1/4th day before I would have to plug it in, I didn't have to charge the phone until the very end of the day with extremely heavy usage. I still haven't had time to try to make google and GPS work but I'll get to it. So far it seems that skyfire is much much faster I'm not sure why but the new IE is very poor about the same level of poor performance as the last version, just stick to skyfire.

    11-8-09 Update:
Just to see how well the power management really has improved I decided to stream the Packer game via WIXX in Green Bay over my phone and through my Jabra Halo head phones. I listened to the entire game, this would have most def killed my phones battery before by the end of the 1st quarter. I made it though the entire game. I did notice this they have changed the way the battery meter on the home screen reads actual battery levels. On the home screen I have two out of three bars, under power management I have less than 1/5th of the bar left. Not to say thats not a great improvement because it is. Honestly not that much changes in the update but the largest improvement is the battery management. It is excelent.

This does not work if you have Win7 64bit. That means I'll upgrade another day, when I get access to WinXP machine or 32bit Vista.

WM6.5 Upgrade + NRG Mini CHome Weather

Everything works fine. Battery life seems to be MUCH improved. Was able to change the Mobile Web key to open iGoogle and the ATTNav GPS key to open Google Maps. LED Alerts work as before. Internet sharing hack still works.

The media player is still 'blah'; same 3 skins as in 6.1. But a nice improvement (at least in mine -- I've had the bj1 bj2 and now the jack) is that it now supports album art. I've never had the album cover art work until last night.

I'm having trouble getting used to the new browser; not sure that I like it (pretty sure I don't), although the addition of the 'address bar' was nice. It seems MUCH SLOWER, regardless of whether I'm using MediaNet or wifi.

My only true disappointment (so far, besides the IE) is that I fell in love with the MiniWeather App (CHome Weather Slides), and now it doesn't display properly. Any help on getting the NRG Mini CHome Weather to display properly would be much appreciated. It's driving me crazy....! Screenshots below:

11/25/09: Mini Weather App is fixed. Thank you everyone.

    Jbeyerjr,
How did you change the Mobile Web Key and utilize the Internet sharing hack? I tried the same process as on Pocket now and didn't get anywhere.
    Thanks in advance,
    FulniX

Update: it seems that now no programs will run that were not preinstalled? Skyfire does not work and I can not reinstall it. The Error message, "Access denied. The program cannot start because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate." comes up....any help would be greatly appreciated

I'd hard reset the phone and start over.
1)Install the ClearSecurity cab (then remove the program immediately as it kills your battery liffe).
    2) Follow the instructions exactly from Pocket Now Youtube video. I've heard that some forget to select "Security Off" from the Selected Configuration drop down menu on Security Configuration Manager. When you open the program, it's defaulted to "Locked." Once you've selected 'Security Off" you can set the provision.
    3) As far as changing the keys (Nav and Mobile Web), the phone needs to be unlocked (clearsecurity cab does the trick). You just need to copy those files from your phone's windows menu to your desktop, then open them with windows Notepad (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad.) Then you just need to change the address you want it to open. [For example, mine says: 33#:DEFBROWSER http://www.google.com/m/ig.] Save it, then drop it back into your windows folder (on the the phone). It'll ask you if you want to replace the existing mobile web shortcut file, and of course you say yes.

    Hope that helps.

I hard reset the phone everything is working now (Skyfire, Palringo, Google Maps, ect.) I will try to unlock the phone for tethering tomorrow.
    Thanks again for the help.

    UPDATE:
Phone is unlocked and works fine, tethering works again. I think the issue was that I installed Clear Security to the Storage Card instead of directly to the device the first time.
Thank you to all who helped me out
