I have the 3 programs. When I save the file it is already named FacadeBlackGlass.home.xml. But when I check the properties it says text file instead of xml file.

if there is already a homescreen with that name, just rename the file (or if you are sure overwrite the one already there.

I think what he's seeing, is that he has "Hide etensions for known file types" clikced in his windows PC options. This hides the .txt in windows, and it'll show up as "FacadeBlackGlass.home.xml" instead of "FacadeBlackGlass.home.xml.txt"

to check this, open explorer (not internet explorer), under "tools", "Folder Options", "view" and see if "Hide etensions for known file types" is checked. If so, uncheck it.

here go...requires Facade, Fizz Weather, and MadBeetle Clock. Remove the .txt from the .xml. Hopefully this is how it's done around here!

Like it alot...there are free ones out there but I had the trial, liked how skinny the plug-in was, so had to have it. MadBeetle($4)..same deal. I have RJTime(free) also, just haven't experimented with that one. I've been researching Orange so as to get the Carrier(Home Service) into the Icon bar....have everything I need, just really scared to download. I got way too many apps loaded, so a hard reset would be devastating. Still talking myself into it...as I want to use that room for a bandwidth meter plugin I found.
