I've noticed that if you have more than 1 "All Day Event", then this plugin isn't worth it. After removing it, I've taken advantage of the real estate by putting the VZW Shortcut plugin back onto the home screen.

NOTE: I have recently attached the screenshot(s) and XML file(s) directly to this post. Since XML attachments are not allowed, I had to append ".txt" to it. To use this XML file, just remove ".txt" before copying it to your Q.

At this point, I am going to work on adding 3rd party plugins. I am looking at 2 more versions. Version 3 will include the Fizz Weather plugin (in place of the VZW Shortcuts). Version 4 will use the Facade plugin (this will replace the VZW Shortcuts and Next Appointment areas). Note: These plugins are commercial products and you would need to purchase them to get the added functionality. I will not be including both plugins as my goal is to make single page Home Screens and there isn't enough real estate for them.

Once I put up versions 3 and 4, I will stop for a while to answer questions on how you can modify these to suit your own needs.

Thanks Gadget for the homescreens... they ROCK! I loved Carbon Fiber Tabs so much that I went ahead and modified it a bit to make it a gold/deep brown... Attached is a screenshot of my color changed version (I don't know how to screenshot the actual Q so this is my photoshop version without all the xml data on top of it, etc.,)

To use these images, just download kooldezine's Carbon Fiber Tabs theme and swap the .jp's with these .jpg's...

In the tradition of the new 'web 2.0' look and feel... I've modified the Carbon Fiber Tabs to a less texturized web 2.0 look & feel.

Hmmmm. I can see where they are coming from with the icons, but the clownfish background can easily be found on Google *not* from apple. So if they have a problem with the icons ones, then so be it. The Clownfish one doesn't contain any protected material.

But then again... I am not selling these, and niether is the owner of this site.

I'd recommend that everyone get their fill and the original posters update their threads to document the files have been removed. I had a similar situation over at ET. I had posted a story and was hosting the file that enabled you to turn the Treo into an iPhone. I'd rather play it on the safe side and not receive a letter from Apple. Same goes for EQ.

That being said, great work by the individual posters.

BTW, it is of course at your discretion to leave your downloads up. I just ask that you remove the link from EQ if they are up and running.

I would love it if somebody could make some hockey homescreens. Maybe one with the NHL logo and a couple for the Vancouver Canucks? I have the ones from Gadget, but I like to change it up alot. Thanks

Found a nice clown fish background on google image search. Made some shaded bars in photoshop myself, and here is the final product:
