Default SD Card gone bad? PLEASE HELP

I have a motorola q black and a 4 gig sd card with a bunch of files on it. Card has been working with my phone and laptop for some time now. Once the card ran out of room recently transferring files to it I got an error message saying no more room. Once that happened the sd card is no longer available using my q, activesync and browsing, even with an adapter and plugging into my laptop directly.

I have tried the card in 2 different laptops. I have tried the card in other motorla q's and it doesn't show up. I have tried a different card with the adapter and all devices and it was available just fine so I know its the card. I normally would just reformat it but I can't get it to show anywhere. Please please help. I would like to see if I can fix before buying another. It has happened once before when the card got full, I reformatted and I didn't have a problem but now won't show up anywhere. I have tried rebooting all devices with the card in it with no luck. I appreciate any help just at least reformat to start over with the card. I don't care about the data I have that backed up and its just music. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
