    You should get this on video - it sounds way cooler than the "my motorola q is possessed' clip on youtube!

    Thanks
    My mom had the same problem... I found info on another website that said to
    hit: Control Alt Up(arrow)
    and that worked for us.

    I had this same issue for a day or two after my Q went for a swim.....drying it out for a day fixed it.

    Yeah, it was a bad day. hung over I decided to go fishing, put my Q in a zip lock (had holes I didnt know), turned around and the bag was flaoting in the lake. grabbed it and hit a button and immediatly had the screen start going haywire. took the battery out, and shook it for a good half hour, and then set it in the sun face down with the battery cover off. that night turned it on and had an upside down screen (I was actually glad to se eit worked regardless of which way the screen was positioned. next day all was good except for a big smudge of water behind the screen that eventually dried out after a few days.

    See you learn something new every day. Water is like LSD for a Q.

    that is quite an adventure.... and yea, crazy things happen, i spilled a big-ass cup of water on my laptop this summer and i am typing on it as we speak. as soon as it happened i turned it off, set it upside down for a good while.. crossed my fingers and turned it on :}
