how to disable email client to check email peoridically?

How do I change the checking interval? Currently my Q's screen lights up every minute or so, and I believe it is due to the email client trying to check email. I couldn't find where to change the checking interval .

Go through the options/setup for that account. All the way through.

That is in the messaging folder under that specific email's options if you manually programmed it.

Your settings will be different if you are using Wireless Sync and then you will need to change your settings in Wireless Sync under When To Sync.
