you need active sync if you have XP and windows mobile device center if you have vista

I have sync but it won't transfer my contacts. Is there something I'm missing. Are they maybe somewhere on my phone and I just need to add them to my contact list now??
check the settings in Active Sync.. they should show up in the contact list on the Q without further "work"..Originally Posted by robertbingalls

are you running outlook or outlook express?
the Q does not sync with express

I'm using outlook
and its been activated...meaning...
you have opened it up to initialize the program?

now it is saying cannot sync b/c a different profile was previously set up or the profile is password protected. I don't know how to open outlook any differently.
Anything???
