Ghost email accounts after updating

I've encountered this before but now it's different and annoying.

Previously, even after deleting an email account on my Sprint Q, the phone doesn't accept new accounts with names that have already been used but no longer exist.

After performing the most recent MOL update, my Q is showing that I have 5 unread msgs. That was true before updating which wiped out all of my email settings.

Does anyone know of any fixes? I have PHM so I can edit the registry if I need to. I'm assuming that's where I'd go to fix this issue.

I know I saw my Hotmail settings in the registry. Or at least the blahblah@hotmail stuff. I never tried removing it though, but its there!

The e-mail accounts are still there. That's why you cannot create a new account with the old name. You can download program that will show the accounts. Search the forums to find the link to the website with this file.

you can also do a master reset
since you just did a MOL update your phone was wiped clean anyways...this will get rid of that account too

its just located on that link i posted

i only happened to remember it since it was asked a few days ago
i could probably host it for easier access or atleast host a link to it
