Did You Know....
The Voice Recognition Software does not like to repeat profanities. Type in a contact such as "Fu......(Censored) and then call up to voice command to call this particular person. The voice recognition Prog doesn't come anywhere close to understanding what your saying.....or it doesn't want to repeat it!

did you know...

To lower the voice recognition volume (mine was killer loud): From home screen press and hold track wheel until Earpiece Volume shows up on your screen, then adjust by rolling trackwheel. That makes me happy!

Don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but I thought it was cool, and discovered it by accident:
When composing a new e-mail, and in the "To:" or "Cc:" fields, press the "return" key on the keypad (far right, middle key) and it will pop up your Contact list, where you can just scroll through to choose the contact, which will bring in that e-mail address...
I never read manuals...is this there?

Pressing any alpha key at the home screen will bring up the contact list...and filter the contacts based on the alpha key you pressed. If the alpha key you hit also happens to be a numeric key, it pre-dials that digit while filtering the contacts list.

You can group start menu shortcuts into personalized folders. This includes all shortcuts. Go to file manager, then /Windows/Start Menu. Right soft key for menu, go to options and check on display hidden files. Now all shortcuts are shown. Now you can select the shortcuts and move to the folders you want. Create new folders to put shortcuts in if you like. For instance, I made a multimedia folder and put media center, Pictures & Videos, Windows Media Player, and TCPMP. Just make sure you update any apps moved that have speed dials.![]()

Did you know that when you are in Calculator mode that if you click the scroll wheel up it adds, and if you click it down it subtracts, and if you press in on the wheel, it is the same as pressing the = key! It is very fast to type in the numbers with one thumb while adding and subtracting with the other.
