Default Deleted some Programs

ok, so i had installed a program onto my g/f's Q. one of them didnt work so well, so i removed it using activesync. it also removed all other programs that were listed. there were only 2 and i have no idea what they were, but since they came on the phone i figured they are important... especially if she wants them. does anyone have any insight what the programs might be? its a verizon Q thats about 5 months old.

Did you happen to catch the name of the programs? What's the carrier?

no, i dont remember what they were. i noticed that her Email isnt connecting now.

she's on verizon

i just checked to see if there was a software update for her phone and there is. i would assume that updating the software would replace the programs that were installed with windows mobile.

am i correct?

Yes and just doing a Master Reset will restore all the programs also to an "out of the Box" condition.

This means Contacts, Calendar, Tasks will be cleared so back them up if you want to save them.

im in the process of updating her software now... i figured since there's a newer version, it might help with some issues i noticed with it. instead of just a master reset. i already did the tweaks for speed and the scrollbars, but the one to change the default servers (for increasing the browsing speed) dont stick. they revert back to the original ones as soon as i open a new browser. hopefully i wont have that issue with the update.

thanks for the help,

the DNS server change still will not stick after the update... It is because the DNS servers are assigned over DHCP.

Stay tuned to the forums though, I am working on a possible solution to this problem...
