Save directly on storage card from computer thru the Q?
Before any of you start accusing me of being lazy, I did actually search the forums for a possible answer. A good 45 minutes, actually.
Anyway. Unlike many problems on here, my 2GB mini card actually works. But I don't have a card reader to plug into my computer.
So, I wanted to know if there was a way to save music, clips/movies, etc. on to my mini card through the Q? So far the Motorola Q will only save directly to the phone's available space and in order to get it on the storage card, I have to go through the phone and move it there. Problem is that the phone itself is running out of space (50MB) and the file I want to save is nearly 200MB.
Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

if you are downloading it just hit the menu button when it asks to save it
after that you hit save as and pick your storage card
if its on the phone already just go in to active sync OR on your phones file manager and move it

I resolved my problem (by chance). Turns out the ActiveSync wasn't recognizing the storage folder.

I'm a total noob. Just got my AT&T Q9h this afternoon.
Similar to aphroazn's question, on a Blackberry, the storage card will present to a PC as a USB drive. Is this possible on the Q9h?
I'd like to be able to connect the Q9h to various PCs to move data to the microSD without having to install ActiveSync on each PC.

look for a program called wm5 storage
that will turn the Q into a flash drive more or less

Go to Start Menu/Settings/Connections/USB Device Type and select the option that says Mass Storage. Then when you plug it via USB to your PC,you'll get the folder pop up on the PC screen showing the contents of the memory card in the phone. Then you can just drag and drop files to/from the card. That's how I have mine set up.
