Cannot charge battery in back of cradle

My phone charges in the desktop cradle, but the spare battery slot doesn't charge the battery.
I get two green blinks then a pause, two green, then a pause.
I thought it would mean a full charge, but I put it in my phone and no go.

Are you charging at the same time? I thought I read somewhere that the phone gets charged first and the spare is secondary. You could stick the charger to a wall adapter if not done so. USB has less juice.

ninjaap is correct. The Q takes priority in the Double Charger. When the Phone is completely charged, the spare will begin charging. You can also try charging the spare (standard or extended) without the phone plugged in. You should get a green light (the light indicator is just for the spare battery). If the phone is only charging...the green light won't activate.
