    Can someone help me?

    I found a free hack program and installed it but I'm not sure what parameters I should enter in the glyph cache settings. Here's the link for the program. The program is called Motorola Q Hacks 1.0. http://www.trianglepowers.com/ppc670...leDefault.aspx
    Thanks for any help.

    1) Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE
    -> change limit from 16384 to 65536
    2) Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\STORAGEMANAGER\FATFS
    -> change cachesize to 4096

    I not that computer savvy so that's why I decided to use the program. Are you familiar with it? Do I simply enter 65539 into the Glyph cache edit box and 4096 into cache size edit box? Thanks again

    yup you got it... its that simple.... the program is just the front man that edits the registry for you. as you said if you are not comfortable editing the registry yourself then the program is the safest bet...

    Enjoy...

    value change?

    When you enter the new numbers in those fields, are they supose to show the new numbers? Let me make sure I'm doing this write. I installed rosco, I then on the phone open the reg editor, nav to the desired file. It gives me an option for action -> modify. There is only one field for me to change and it's currently set to 16384. I change it to 65535 and hit done. It asks are you sure you want to do this and I hit yes. I come back to the folder view with the file having the original value still there. If I go back to modify agian the original value is back there. I restarted it and everything. Same thing for cache size. It's currently set to 0 and I changed it to the 4000 value and same outcome. Do I need to check the hex box? Any ideas? Thanks.
