    Is there a hack for...

    1. Turning off the alert when the Q completes its charge.`
    2. instead of having the MRU on the homescreen to instead have just the applications I use the most (like my favorites)?

    1. nope
    2. no hack but a program called facade has a 'launcher' tab that you can add to your homescreen

    <butting in..> rumors are that there might be a hack, check out this post, have not tried this myself.

    It worked!

    I loaded the the Mortscript program referenced in the post copies the small script to My Docs... ran the script... it worked perfectly. As soon as the battery was charged the screen flashed for a split second and I was back to my homescreen no sound no nothing.
