ok found it...i lucked out and this was my first hack....

    • Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox
    • Next, click on Inbox (make sure the Inbox is highlighted) and select Edit, New Key
    • Name the New Key as "Settings"
    • Click on "Settings" (make sure the Settings is highlighted) and select Edit, New String Value
    • On "Value name:", key in SMSNoSentMsg and in "Value data", key in 1
    • Soft reset your device and test it with one SMS, and you will notice that the SMS Sent bubble is being disabled

Thanks!!! What about the second message, from the administrator, which confirms your message has been deleted? I wonder if I need to contact Verizon about this since its actually a message being sent to my phone.

You mean the confirmation that your SMS has been received? (The one with the green dot..?)

You can dis/en-able this in the Text Messages account options. I don't have my Q in front of me so I can't elaborate right now.

Please pardon my ignorance. I'm switching from the Palm O/S to the Q and it's not super easy. I saw the hack, but I'm confused as to where to do it. Is this on the PC or the Q? If its on the Q, how do you get to it?

    Thanks for the help...

This mod is done on your Q. Just install a registry editor like PHM or Resco so that you can access your registry.

on the odd chance that there is a communication error of some kind, will that message still appear?
