Thanks. The weird thing, was that I could not get the Storm to type the letter on the key that I wanted. If I wanted to use the letter "U" normally that would be two taps. On the storm, it just seemed possessed. There was no telling what letter was going to come up, no matter how many times I "tapped". Never did figure it out, which is odd, because it should be intuitive.
Not the Q9N but something WinMo from Moto:

Despite what people say what about the Atila and Alexander, but I think they are pretty nifty looking phones. I like Motorola's style, and while I'm not a huge fan of the Alexander keyboard, I think that most likely that is a first incarnation and that revisions are in the works.

Just came from my local VZW store. THey tell me VZW will tag all new smart phones with the $30/mon data plan. They'll let the Q9c stick to the $2/MB data plan. At $30/month there are a lot more capable phones on VZW (Storm, Omnia, HTC Touch). Of course, for that kinda money one can go to AT&T and get an iPhone as well. I had kinda settled on the Omnia or Storm, but not at $30/mon for the measly 1 to 2 MB I use. The larger screen real estate was what attracted me, especially the Omnia if they would let me use the "buy by the drink" data plan (BB's were already stuck with the extra data plan).
To be honest i couldnt see myself going without the unlimited plan. I've grown quite fond of being able to use the net whenever im bored, not to mention browsing youtube and being able to download them is really nice. Email, IM, EQ ;), to be without the unlimited plan would crumble my wallet lol
I just too upgrade my Q1 but am very curious of the outcome of the QN. I'll probably wait a couple weeks in hopes of some news, but if not then I'll get the Q9C...
I think i remember seeing TreeFrog who recently upgraded to the Q9C, was it worth it so far?
