Outlook contacts to Q won't sync

I got a new Q9M but can't get outlook '03 contacts/calendar to sync. Active Sync 4.5 on both phone & WinXP. Using USB & Inactive. Did master reset. Removed battery. Restarted WinXP. Deleted partnership. Reconnected with only one partnership connected. (Exported Outlook contacts to a csv file but don't know how to import to Q). Sync acts like it is syncing, but no contacts or calendar events transfered. It does say it sees my 383 contacts during the syn, but none transferred. Using Admin privileges. Wireless mgr off. Enable advanced network functionality checked & unchecked. Old phone was Treo 600 & couldn't sync at Verizon store. What am I missing?

how long do you let it sync for?

It finished on it's own in under a minute or 2 & showed the sync completed. It showed the number of contacts 0/396 and check marks & I could hear the hard drive clicking away, but no transfer. Same with the calendar. If I add an item on the calendar, I can see MSync spin & try to sync, but no change on phone calendar. Hope this helps.
