It all started when I got my 4gb card...

I put it into my MetroPCS-flashed phone and, using resco-explorer or whatever it was called, immediately started moving data from the phone's internal hard drive to the card itself so as to free up space on the phone.

I moved all the apps I had downloaded previously; google maps, youtube, facebook, handango, google search, etc.. from the (I think) program files location in the phone directory to the "card" location.

When I was done, I went and pushed "start" and instead of the incons I normalyl saw for the apps that I'd moved, I saw just little squares with the name of the app, and when I'd try to use the app, I'd get a 'cannot find" message.

If I went into the resco-explorer and went into the "storage card" folder and located the app that way, I could use it. But of course that's not what I wanted. I wanted to be able to click on the icon when I pushed start and use the damned app like I'd been able to initially.

But being the dumbass I am, I thought I could fix it with the old "Master Reset".

Now, as you may have guessed, when I attempt to use the internet, I get the message of "Cannot connect. Plesae Check your username, password, or other credentials and try again."

or sometimes, I get this one:

"Login error. Ensure you have the correct login information and try again."

    Please help me.

I'll Paypal $100 to whoever can show me how to fix this. Seriously.

for your apps you would need to reinstall them to your card. Sounds like a registry edit is needed to imput Metro's login in settings is needed.

So, I could take it back to the guy that flashed it and have him re-flash it, or re-flash the internet..?

Oh, and something else, I've noticed. Before the master reset, but after the data movement, when I was still able to access the internet, I actually did re-download a couple of apps. And what I noticed was that when I downloaded one, the phone would actually ask me if I wanted to download to the card or to the "device". It actually gave me a choice.

With other apps, the dl would start and go right to saying "downloading to "program files"" without asking me. Is there a way to make sure that the apps I download go straight to the card? And how do I get the icons for the apps that are downloaded to the card to show up when i press "Start"?

    he can reflash it..

May also get lucky and get ahold of a metro tech that knows what he is doing. Either one might be able to talk you thru reconfiguring the internet.

if you go into your file explorer or resco and click on the apps file (.cab) it should reinstall. it should always ask you where you want to download to. if you dont have to much on the phone, back it up and do a hard reset then reinstall everything. thats the freshest start you can get without reflashing.

in the file explorer, copy the pim.vol file to the card and rename it pimold.vol. do the hard reset. then, using rescoe, copy pimold.vol back to where it was. then rename it pim.vol and it should ask you if you want to overwrite. select yes and now you will have all your contacts and calendar apts back.
