    Custom ringtone formats

    i made an .mp3 file and tested it as my ringtone and works, has anyone tested other formats like wma or mp4 audio files to work as ringtones
    From the 1st and original Windows Mobile SmartPhone:
    HTC Tanager
    (in the form of Smart Amazing Phone)

    to the 1st 2.8" 320x240 PDA:

    HTC Magician
    (in the form of O2 XDA II Mini)

    to Motorola's multimedia Smartphone:
    Moto Q9M

    wav files do work but they are really big. I made a 30 second ringtone and it was like 6 mb and as an mp3 it was only like 950 kb.

    Mind if I ask "how" you made your ringtone? ie; what software you used or whatever? Thanks!

    I used Audacity to cut out a smaller clip from an mp3 and save it as a wav.

    i use Goldwave to convert audio files from 1 format to another and edit the file buy trimming and increase volume
    From the 1st and original Windows Mobile SmartPhone:
