WM 6.5 STD -- i want it in my Q9 :P

It's quite easy. First make sure you have an unlocked Q9h. Then please do the following steps (remember do it at your own risk):

1. Install Motorola USB Driver.
2. Install RSD Lite.
3. Download 2 files skiwi uploaded, and extract it. You'd get an sbf file.
4. Make sure your phone battery is fully charged. Turn off your phone.
5. Turn on the phone while pressing * and # key. You'll go to the flash mode w/ black screen, then plug the phone into your PC.
6. Run RSD Lite, open the sbf file, press Start button and wait until you get a PASS message to unplug your phone.

If you get fail, don't worry just go to http://cid-b3681f73a1295f37.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Publiczny/Q9^_Tools/WM%206.5%20rom/based^_rom to download the the based rom. Extract it and flash this rom (step 6). Then flash the 6.5 firmware again.

The default language is Chinese, but you can change to English. You just go to Setting, and press key 7-7-1 to go to sub menu Regional Settings.

got it working on MY ATT model q9H

had to flash the base rom first than the 6.5 rom.. otherwise I got the "barker not set" problem

switched everything to english but I still see some things labeled in chinese, added the ATT internet connections back in and deleted out the ones that were already there.

any idea how to get opera set back to english? haha

Download the language file here http://www.mediafire.com/?g0lyztwxzhz. It's from my Q9h running European 6.1 ROM.

Next overwrite it to \Application Data\ Opera

Honestly, I didn't try it yet. Please tell me the result after you do.

First of all I want to thank Skiwi for posting the ROM and Eclipse for the tutorial.

I managed to upgrade the Movistar ES WM6.0 Branded Q9 to a Non Brand WM6.5 one

I am very thankful for this.

One question : how can i change the T9 Chinese Keyboard to abc English ?

I changed the Regional Setting to Romanian (the country where i am from) but i could't find any settings for the input method.
