I have read people posting it works on the original. The 822 & 825 are confirmed to work in the Q & Q9m. It even states it's compatible on the site.

Update... The 823 is confirmed to work in the Q9h but it is a bit pricey.

I have 823 in Moto q9h Norman wm6.1. It works fine, battery life is good. Two issues:
-- there is no way to turn wifi off
-- phone hangs when I pull wifi card with phone on. (you have to turn phone off, pull card out and then restart phone without wifi)

I was asking because I came across this card:

    http://www.amazon.com/Spectec-SDW-82.../dp/B000VCTGB6

I read that it would work if the OG Q had enough amps to power it. But then again, we'd be able to fly if we had wings huh.

and you are right it is mini not micro. I mistyped when writing that. my brain was saying the right thing but my hands were typing another.
